My friend, Danial Hirayama and I started Defiance Knives LLC. in order to produce a small line of combat/pack/bush/"tactical" knives to provide some more product to my valuable customers who really want more of a "using-style" knife that is a bit faster to produce and is much less costly.
Our flagship model is called the Kage Kiri, "shadow cut" and features Crucible's incredible 3V steel, incorporates the very tough CeraKote finishes with textured G-10 scales. The Heat-Treat will be done by the Paul Bos co., I sharpen each one on waterstones and we guarantee they will be great performers.
The Kage Kiri has a 6" blade and we are selling it for $325. A sheath like the one above (made by Dan: Semper Paratus Tactical) will add another $50. We will also be working closely with Brian Wagner (www.okuden.net) to make a top grade Kydex sheath with TekLoc fastener, also for an additional $50.

Our next knife is called the Kiba, "fang." It is made from 52100 that has been personally heat-treated by me and also features CeraKoting on the blade and textured G-10 scales.
The Kibas have a 3-1/2" blade and will include a simple kydex sheath with an In-The-Waistband belt loop for $175. To have a TecLok mounted on the sheath they will be $180.
The first batch of these are also sold out. I have just heat-treated 25 more of these and will be doing the finishing and have CeraKoting done soon. Please contact me via e-mail if you are interested in one of these little guys and I'll put you on the list.

Next, we have a 15" shortsword called the Dai Kage Kiri "large shadow cut." We are currently having these cut out of CPM 3V and have not set a price on these yet.
